No second date for Delilah Dragon & Marty Microwave: example of a story created and drawn by college students in a follow-up activity to the One-word Image character creation

Examples of One-word Image characters from Comprehensible Cascadia 2017 in Portland, Oregon
Shirley Shoe: example of a follow-up activity to a One-word Image character in which adult students (fellow foreign language teachers) film, act out, and do post-production editing of the character's story they created. The teacher narrates the story in the target language to provide Comprehensible Input to students when they watch the video for review. In the case of ASL, a heritage learner or other advanced student can be used to voice interpret the teacher's narration into English. Videos can also be used as beginner-level texts for future students.
